Hello my name is Maria McKinney and I have been teaching children since 2004. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade and now I am a Dyslexia specialist.  I enjoy helping and  spending time with my students.  I graduated in Mexico and obtained my teacher certification through Region 4.

I have been working in Waller since 2008 and I was honored to received the Teacher of Year award in 2015. I live with my family in Waller and I feel very proud to be part of this wonderful community.
