Welcome to PE with Coach Byrd!    

I have spent my entire teaching career in Waller ISD.  I began teaching in 1999 at Schultz Middle School (now Junior High), teaching 5th grade math.  While there, I also taught 5th grade science and social studies. After seven years, I decided I wanted to get into coaching, and I made the move to Waller Junior High.  I have been there ever since, and in that time I have taught 6th grade World Cultures, 7th grade Texas History, 8th grade American History, and now PE.  I also coach football, basketball, and track.  

Before coming to Waller, I graduated from Brenham High School in 1994, Blinn College in 1996, and Sam Houston State University in 1999.  

My wife Carrie and I were married in 2005, and we have three beautiful children, Isabel, Wyatt, and Tyler.
