Welcome back to another school year at Schultz Junior High. I am ready and excited to start this school year. 

I have been blessed to work in various classroom settings for over eighteen years. My past teaching experience has been within the elementary, middle and high school level. I believe that my experience in working with students with different Intellectual and Learning Disability; while also teaching generalist, as an ELA teacher, has guided me to become a veteran when Co-Teaching ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies classrooms. I'm currently Co-Teaching in sixth grade ELAR classes. I have observed that students learn best with the context of Quantum Learning which implements tactile, visual and auditory aspects. Therefore, I will strive to implement those qualities within the classrooms I will be co-teaching in. 

Outside of teaching I have also had the privilege of coaching Special Olympic and assisting with the girls Drill Team at Waller High School. I was also blessed to be promoted as the Director of the Special Needs Ministry at my church “The Met” in the Houston area for two years.

I’m looking forward to building a relationship with you and your child. As you previously read, I’m very active around Waller ISD and within the community. I believe that being a part of my student’s life outside of the school setting is just as important as within the school setting. Hence, I hope to see many of my students and their parents at various school events. 

My Family:
I have an amazing GOD who is the rock to my family. My husband and I have been married for over 20 years. Together we have two beautiful children, Mariah and Mason. My daughter is a senior at Texas State; while my son continues his education at Waller High School, as a senior, as well. If you have to opportunity to meet my husband he is an amazing individual who is well known around the community from coaching past Pee Wee Football and Baseball leagues and was recently part of the Waller ISD bond committee. Together, we enjoy life and live it to the fullest!
