Welcome to Waller Junior High Science!

I was raised on a livestock and crop farm in a small Midwest community and attended a public school with a graduating class size of seventy-three.  Though we had a relatively small school and limited opportunities we did have some of the best teachers around.  I was active in Track, Band, and 4-H showing cattle and horses.  I graduated with a Bachelors degree from The University of Illinois and began my career in Veterinary Sales with Ralston Purina in St. Louis, transferring to the GREAT state of Texas in 1995 (I got here as fast as I could!).  I continued in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry until I determined it was time to be more available for my daughter, at which time  I began substituting full-time in the Waller school district while earning my Teaching Certification.  I have worked at several Waller ISD campuses and am thrilled to be a part of the Waller Junior High Team! I hope to be able to share my life experiences and knowledge while teaching Science and someday have someone refer to me as one of the "best teachers around."
