Meeting six of the 2019 Waller ISD (WISD) Bond Advisory Committee (BAC) was held May 2. After having heard and studied demographic, existing facilities, and financial information members came ready for final discussion and deliberation. As a large group, the committee made general comments and asked outstanding questions about possible projects to be considered before voting by table groups. The BAC decided on a 2/3 rule for consensus on projects. This means that 2/3 of the table groups must vote to include a project for it to be added to their recommended bond package. Of the 17 projects considered, nine were approved. The BAC will return for its final meeting on May 30 to confirm and analyze its recommended bond package and celebrate their work.
